Due to travel and work committments, I’m a bit behind on posts. Working on that! Tomorrow I’ll have a money update that is actually positive for once, so check back. This post covers posts for the last couple of weeks. Great posts, I couldn’t not share them…
2 Year Blogiversary and iPad + Cash Giveaway @ Making Sense of Cents ; Happy blogiversary to Michelle, her story is impressive. I can’t believe her blog is only 2 years old! She’s a pro!
10 (Amazing) Free Things In Life @ Budgets Are Sexy ; Sometimes you just need to sit back, relax, and appreciate the simple things in life. I particularly like numbers 2, 4, 7, 9, and 10. Hehe.
Payoff Your Mortgage Faster, Save Thousands of Dollars @ Making Sense of Cents ; Guest post goes over the savings comparisons between 30 year, 15 year, and even biweekly mortgage payments. Definitely something to consider if you’re buying or refinancing.
How to Get a Statement and Reconcile Your PayPal Business Account @ Out of Debt Again ; I liked this post, because I’m stuck doing this for work! Paypal discontinued offering a Quicken download, which complicated the process for me. Instead I have to download the spreadsheet and edit it before I can reconcile. It’s a pain, but it was nice to see a tutorial on it.
Real Life Rejection: A Whole Week of It (How I Deal) @ Single Moms Income ; I’m a new reader of Alexa’s blog, but I’m hooked. I’ve been trying to land some freelance work with no luck lately, so this post was motivating. Plus, fear is really holding me back. Fear of failure, of putting myself out there. Time to get over that!
Orange is the New Awesome @ Debt and the Girl ; Yessss. I love this show. The husband and I just finished the first season and can’t wait for the second. We frequently have these conversations, and sometimes I think ‘wow, life would be so much easier in TV prison’!
My Top 3 Resume Tips @ Debt Free Dreaming ; Something everyone should read. I have to flip through resumes constantly at work, and I can honestly say that 90% are garbage. Spelling errors, no dates listed, no contact information, and many are copy/paste google finds!
Financial Update, A New Beginning @ Cents to Save ; I’ve been following Lisa’s blog for quite awhile. During her mother’s illness she made a lot of personal sacrifices to care for her. My heart breaks for her loss. Reading this post put a smile on my face, especially about her taking a trip. Well deserved!
